Join Sisterhood for this funny, fabulous program following our Paid-Up Membership Dinner! Thursday, October 19 at 6:15 pm Joyce Eisenberg & Ellen Scolnic are The Word Mavens, two ladies who know the difference between pulkes and a pushke! The Word Mavens will entertain and engage you with their humorous, fact‑filled look at Jewish holidays, customs, foods, and more.
Please join us as we come together to celebrate the new moon and deepen our understanding of our own spirituality through literature, biblical text, create arts, music, friendship and food. Rabbi Daniela will lead the June program on Ruth and Naomi: Friendship among Women.

Sisterhood will present a Brunch and Book Conversation on Sunday, February 21 at 9:45 am. Judy Anthony will lead an interactive conversation about the book “Lady in Gold.” The book and movie, “Woman in Gold,” tell the remarkable, true story of Marie Altmann’s journey to reclaim her heritage and see justice for her family 60 years after they fled Vienna.
The Sisterhood of Temple Beth El will welcome well-known artist Mordechai Rosenstein for an Artist in Residence weekend from March 17 to 20. Since 1979, this talented artist has been creating Jewish art for homes, synagogues and organizations, using vibrant colors and flowing lines that transform the art of Hebrew calligraphy into magnificent modern day art.
