Temple Beth El recently celebrated a Beit Mitzvah weekend. Thirteen years ago, our congregation moved to its present location, and the temple decided to hold a special celebration weekend to mark this milestone.
The weekend included a Shabbat dinner, sponsored by the temple, followed by services led by students of our Religious School. The evening will conclude with an oneg dessert reception.
The Beit Mitzvah celebration continued on Saturday morning with Shabbat services. Our new stained glass windows were dedicated during this special service. A Kiddush luncheon, sponsored by the Temple Beth El Sisterhood, followed immediately after services.
A Sunday morning brunch was sponsored by the Temple Men’s Club, After the brunch, David Ascalon, of Ascalon Studios, Inc., presented information on the history of stained glass, and the manufacture, design and installation of the temple’s new sanctuary stained glass windows.
