This year, funds from the Jewish Food Festival held in May exceeded all expectations and raised more than $17,200. We increased our bottom line over last year’s record return. In addition, Temple Beth El donated 108 Mitzvah Meals to the Water Street Rescue Mission.
We could not have done this without the combined efforts of the Food Festival committee as well as the entire congregation. So thank you for purchasing your tickets. Thank you for volunteering at the Food Festival. Thank you for bringing your friends and family to nosh and shop. Thank you for spreading the word about our event. Thank you for helping to bake. For some, it takes a village. For us, it takes a congregation.
A special thanks also goes to The Lions Club for volunteering at the Food Festival.
This was the first year we invited local businesses to become sponsors through our ad journal.
So we offer a special thanks to our 2014 Corporate Sponsors:
- Giant Supermarkets
- Park City Diner and Knight & Day Diner
- Lancaster Toyota
- Charles F. Snyder Funeral Homes
