To appreciate the legacy of the Jewish people, we must explore the lives of the founders of modern Jewish life. In the course, “Modern Jewish Heroes,” we will focus on the lives of some visionaries, philanthropists and heroes from all walks of life. We’ll examine the lives and contributions of people such as Mordechai Manuel Noah, Hannah Senesh, Sarah Aaronson, Eliezer Ben-Yehudah, among others. Some are famous, while others are not, but all are interesting and captivating.
The course is offered by Edna Naveh. There is no charge for the course which will be held on the following Sundays: October 26, November 16 and November 23, at 9:45 am following morning minyan.
